A Message From District Manager Melissa Morton

Thank you for visiting the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District website. Treating the wastewater that comes through our plant and preventing pollution from flowing through Vallejo's storm drains to the Bay is a complex and important job, and we are proud to have served you for more than 65 years. Being your partner, in public health and environmental protection, is what we're all about.
The District
We collect everything that goes down your drain or toilet. We treat it in our wastewater plant until it's clean. Then we release it into the Mare Island Strait. We also keep rainwater flowing into storm drains so it doesn't flood streets and buildings.
Our service area reaches to the Vallejo city limits, and includes all unincorporated Solano County areas within those limits.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to make Vallejo a healthy place to live and work. We do this by keeping the city's wastewater and stormwater free from pollution.
